Earning Continuing Education Units (CEUs) through Liberty University

Calling all teachers in need of continuing education units! Did you know that IEW partners with Liberty University to offer these units to individuals who complete the Teaching Writing: Structure and Style (TWSS) course and practicum exercises? It’s true! Teachers can earn two CEUs after successfully fulfilling the requirements of the course.

There are several ways to fulfill the requirements. You can watch the TWSS seminar at home or complete the course in a group setting. Then submit your practicum assignments to our instructor accreditation program. If you successfully complete the practicum assignments and are notified that your accreditation application has been approved, then complete the course registration through Liberty University’s Center for Professional and Continuing Education (CPCE).

Alternatively, if you attend a live schools division event or complete the course with fellow teachers at your hybrid school and you are approved to become an accredited instructor at the Registered Level, you may then apply for CEUs through Liberty University.
