Introduction to Accreditation

IEW provides accreditation to ensure that students receive writing instruction from a teacher who has completed the Teaching Writing: Structure and Style® seminar and practicums, demonstrating a thorough understanding of the Structure and Style method. A well-trained IEW teacher preserves the fidelity of the IEW teaching methodology in order to successfully help students become confident and competent communicators and thinkers.

To maintain IEW Accreditation, teachers must complete renewal requirements every two years.

Search for Accredited IEW Instructors if you desire extra help, such as grading assignments, one-on-one tutoring, or virtual or live class instruction.

There are four tiers of IEW Accreditation.
