I love working with students to see them become successful and confident writers. I know firsthand what it is like to struggle to communicate one’s thoughts and ideas. I believe every student can become a quality writer with practice and the proper tools.
I have coached hundreds of students and seen IEW’s Structure and Style method work astoundingly well for every type of student, from those with learning difficulties to gifted writers. I encourage and challenge my students to achieve their personal best, as I cheer them on. While teaching them specific writing skills, I also train them in foundational life skills such as following directions and taking ownership of their work.
In my classes I facilitate a high-energy, encouraging environment, combined with IEW's proven method, and I usually win over even the most hardened hater of writing.
