Premium Membership: Where Do I Start?

Mar 20, 2025 | Posted by the IEW Blog Team

For many of our new Premium Members, glancing over the additional files now included in their account is like entering a downtown library, new card in hand, and viewing row after row of possible resources.

  • Where can I find the Mini Posters?
  • What do I do with all of these audio files?
  • I want to use that one-time-use free shipping code. Where is it?
  • I received this gift during the Twelve Days of Christmas Giving promotion, but how can it help me day to day?

Consider me your helpful librarian! Let me stick my pencil in my proverbial bun and show you where to start in this library of additional resources.

As with any compendium of knowledge, the first step is to understand your options. In a library, this would entail understanding each section and making sure to note the hanging Fiction and Reference signs. Our Premium Membership landing page is a great place to start. It highlights the membership’s sections, listing what is included in each section. Next, visit our blog post “Premium Membership” as it provides links to particular features in each of these sections so that you can learn more.

In your IEW account Dashboard, click Files. In this blog, I have listed each zip file and PDF included in your membership and the basic outline of what each includes. We recommend that you download and peruse the contents of each file, noting which ones will benefit you.

TWSS2-PREM PDF Downloads
This large file contains digital downloads of printable content. Here you will find all of the supplemental resources included in your membership such as the Student Resource Packet (SRP), Timeline of Classics (TLC), Dress-Ups, Decorations, and Delightful Diversions (DDD), and the Writing Source Packet (WSP). Stand-alones such as our Mini Posters, the IEW Recommended Reading List, and articles for parents and articles for teachers are also included in this zip file. We recommend downloading this first.

TWSS2-PREM Premium Member Master Class and Webinar Access Instructions.pdf

TWSS2-PREM Audio Talk Downloads

TWSS2-PREM Free Product Instructions (However Imperfectly Book/Video Streaming)

Linguistic Development through Poetry Memorization - Level 1 (PDF/MP3s)
This zip file opens PDF downloads of the student pages and the teacher’s manual pages for Level 1 of this program. It also includes an MP3 download of Andrew’s inspiring talk Nurturing Competent Communicators.

Premium Membership Video Streams
In Video Streams you will find the IEW Premium Membership heading. This heading will open a list of Teaching Tips with Andrew Pudewa (TTAP) videos. The TTAP videos correspond to specific lessons in each of the Structure and Style® for Students courses. If your students are completing SSS-1A, look through this list and note that, starting in Week 4, there is a short video tip for each lesson of the course. You will find the Teaching Writing: Structure and Style® seminar under the TWSS2 Forever Streaming Video heading. These video streams allow you to watch the entire teacher training seminar, which all of our materials reference.

Some of you are already scattering to grab an item I have mentioned. Wonderful! For those of you still feeling a bit overwhelmed, I recommend treating this membership as a treasured place that you will aspire to visit on a Saturday afternoon or over your summer break. Plan time when you can wander around its shelves and find the resources that will benefit you and your students the most. Start with the Premium Membership video streams. These videos allow you to understand how to use and engage with all of our materials. From there, pick a few Master Classes that speak to specific topics of interest to you and your family. Think of the Master Classes as continuing education credits for parents and teachers. Then, venture into an audio file folder. As your confidence builds, download a supplemental resource that you can use to enhance your IEW theme-based book or video-based course. If you have not yet, open up the IEW Checklist Generator, which allows you to generate specialized checklists for individual students as you practice our EZ+1 philosophy

Now that you are oriented, this librarian’s work is complete. IEW Customer Service Agents are ready to point you in the direction of needed resources and offer recommendations. Do not hesitate to approach our desk via a call, email, or chat as we are always happy to help! Your Premium Membership is meant to come alongside and offer you support and valuable resources–your own IEW library, so to speak.
