Jennifer Mauser

I am an Accomplished IEW instructor as well as a master accredited Barton tutor and work with students between the ages of seven to adult. My specialty is working with students who have dyslexia or who are in high school. Currently I am planning on offering an online level B course for the 2022-23 school year intended for high school students who have dyslexia, other learning disabilities, or some writing angst. The class will meet on Tuesdays at 9:00 AM and Wednesdays at 8:00 AM (Eastern Standard Time Zone).

If you are interested in the class, editing support, or tutoring (IEW or Barton), please contact me. Thanks so much!

___________________________________________________________

Jennifer has always loved reading and writing and received a B.A. in English from the University of Kansas in 1991. Once she and her husband had children, they decided to homeschool, and she put all her training to use in the home. Discovering IEW when her oldest was in fifth grade, she knew she’d found the perfect writing program for her family and never looked back. Now that she has completed homeschooling her own children, Jennifer enjoys teaching IEW classes out of her home, at local co-ops, and online. She also tutors students who struggle with dyslexia and is certified at the Master Level in Barton Reading and Spelling. Living near the venerable city of St. Augustine, Florida, she relishes regular trips to the beach. When she’s not teaching, Jennifer enjoys knitting, spinning, canoeing, and writing the occasional blog post. Her blog is titled A Knitterary Life.
