Sharpening the Saw – Maintaining Your Edge as a Teacher: Podcast Episode 324

The school year is winding down, the days are warming, and the summer season approaches. The summer is a time of rest and relaxation. While certainly important, it also provides the opportunity for teachers and teaching parents to review and strengthen their knowledge necessary for the upcoming school year. In Episode 324 Andrew and Julie discuss some things that teachers can do to stay sharp.

Teaching Writing: Structure and Style is IEW’s flagship product. It teaches the instructor the Structure and Style methodology of writing that can then be applied in any grade level or classroom setting. When teachers have a solid understanding of the methodology, they are better able to relate those concepts to their students. Because of this, Andrew and Julie offer teachers summer study suggestions such as reviewing the seminar, completing the practicum assignments, participating in The Great TWSS Adventure or signing up for one of our workshops!

There are many options to choose from that can best fit your schedule while still taking time for rest and leisure. If teachers feel equipped when going into the school year, then they can teach their students with more ease and confidence. Stay tuned and stay sharp!
