It’s almost the end of the school year. The finish line is in sight, and you may already be eagerly anticipating the upcoming break from school and days spent outside. Did your semester start out strong, but now you’re tired and struggling to muster the motivation to finish the school year? If this sounds familiar, then Episode 317 is for you!

This week, Andrew and Julie discuss a well-known end of the semester experience: burnout. While burnout is not always avoidable, the duo have seven strategies for teachers and parents to manage exhaustion as they enter the homestretch. The strategies are as follows:

  1. Set up your workspace.
  2. Maintain your schedule.
  3. Keep yourself organized.
  4. Take breaks.
  5. Exercise.
  6. Unplug during non-work hours.
  7. Get help when needed!

Tune in to the episode to hear Andrew and Julie provide encouragement and offer insight on implementing these strategies in your life. Energy and motivation are infectious, and if you can nurture your students through the end of the year, they will be positively affected as well!
