10:30 AM CT    Session 2: Navigating the Four Deadly Errors in the Classroom – A Panel Discussion

A panel of Schools Department team members will discuss tips and tricks for avoiding the four deadly errors in the classroom. Members of our Schools Department team, who have years of experience implementing Structure and Style in various classroom and group settings, will give classroom-tested strategies for using IEW tools to make writing accessible and enjoyable for every student.

11:30 AM CT     Session 3: Advocacy, Structure, and Support That Build Confidence, Jeff Nease

Writing instruction can unintentionally leave some students feeling behind or confused, especially when expectations feel subjective or unclear. This encouraging session invites teachers to reflect on how student confidence is shaped in the classroom. Participants will explore how structure, clarity, and intentional support help students experience success in writing. Using IEW components such as the key word outline, clear checklists, spiral learning, and the EZ+1 approach, this session offers practical ways to replace the pressure of “should” with coaching, confidence, and growth.
