Sandy Giles
I am offering tutoring instruction in writing for grades 3–8 in the Structure and Style writing method. Beginning with Unit 1, students will learn structure and stylistic techniques while growing to be confident and competent writers. Students are engaged in reading, listening, speaking and writing.
At the University of Lethbridge, I graduated with a special ed degree and a minor in music. Although I have worked in the Alberta schools as a substitute teacher, my focus has been mainly tutoring elementary aged students. I fell in love with Structure and Style a number of years ago at a Palliser District Teachers' Convention and completed the Teaching Writing: Structure and Style teacher-training course.
