May Shen is a Certified Academic Language Therapist (CALT) and a Licensed Dyslexia Therapist (LDT) in Texas.  Her mission is to help students gain confidence and access life opportunities through improved literacy.

Formerly a children's librarian in Dallas and adjunct faculty at Dallas Baptist University in the Intensive English Program, May has experience working with students of all ages. She holds a B.A. in History from Dartmouth College and a M.Ed. in Curriculum & Instruction/ M.A. in Linguistics from The University of Texas at Arlington.
