I was first introduced to the Teaching Writing Course of IEW in 2016, and went through the workbook and video course at the time (without completing the practicum). I'm now interested in becoming a registered instructor. I'm a paediatrician and come across many children struggling with writing. I wish to have the skill to teach writing, but to be honest, not very sure how I"m going to use the skill yet, possibly doing private tutoring for small group of children or in my local church. I'm also the editor of the quarterly magazine of my church and wish to see better writing in the younger generation. I also have a special interest in children with specific learning difficulties, and hope to have the opportunity to help these children in the future.
