Mrs. Kristin Martin is a Florida state certified teacher holding certification in English, Exceptional Student Education, Elementary Education, and Preschool Education as well as being Florida state endorsed in Reading. A dyslexia specialist, Mrs. Martin is trained by the Academy of Orton Gillingham Practitioners and Educators (AOGPE), which is highly regarded as being the gold standard for educator preparation in literacy instruction for dyslexics. Also trained and certified by Barton Reading & Spelling, Mrs. Martin is well-versed in providing reading and spelling interventions for struggling students of all ages. She provides individualized tutoring for spelling, reading, and writing, both virtually and in person. Mrs. Martin has years of experience working with students with and without formal diagnoses, and students of varying needs including autism spectrum disorder, ADD, ADHD, dyslexia, dysgraphia, expressive receptive language disorders, other symbolic dysfunction, sensory processing disorder, neurological disorders, neuromuscular disorders, and more.
