In 2004 Kristin graduated from Loyola Marymount University, where she studied theology and psychology. She went on to get her K–12 teaching credential in Special Education, specializing in serving students with mild to moderate disabilities. Kristin also holds an M.A. in Counseling Psychology and an M.Ed. in Curriculum and Instruction with an emphasis in Applied Behavior Analysis. She has worked with students between the ages of 4 and 22 in various roles for the past 15 years, and teaching writing has always been her favorite part of the job. She greatly enjoys utilizing the strategies provided in IEW’s method and currently uses it to support homeschool families and their students with their writing style and structure via private, online tutoring and in-person local co-op classes.
