I have tutored with the Barton program for 16 years. Before that I homeschooled my children through the IDEA program in AK. I was familiar with IEW and used parts of it during our homeschool years (it was just coming out when my kids were young). Besides a great refresher in grammar and mechanics, I thought this wonderful curriculum would be an asset to my tutoring portfolio. We are no longer in AK, still in transition, but helping my dad in PA.
