IEW Instructor

Mrs. O. is a classical educator, and this philosophy guides her teaching style. 

She holds a B.S. in Family and Human Services and is a certified, experienced IEW instructor and a Level 5 TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) teacher.

Mrs. O. is also a veteran homeschooling mother of boys! She began using IEW when her oldest, who is starting college, was in the third grade. Along with IEW, Mrs. O. has used the Memoria Press curriculum to instill in her children a love of Latin and literature. She has shared this knowledge with students of all ages in various settings ranging from children's hospitals to homeschool co-ops.

She regularly continues her education by attending classical training conferences and IEW workshops. This training, combined with years of experience, has equipped her to teach learners of all ages online and in person. Her students come from all over the world!

When Mrs. O. is not teaching online, she can be found dodging her boys' martial arts moves or outside tending to her ever-increasing garden while wrangling chickens. Fun fact, her rooster is named Boo Radley! 

Mrs. O. offers live online IEW writing and Fix It! Grammar courses as well as many accompanying literature courses.
