Having homeschooled for 35 years, I have tried a variety of writing programs and methods. Significantly, it wasn't until we were introduced to the IEW courses that writing became a profound pleasure rather than prolonged and painful. As we write together now it is a positive experience. Also there is immediate improvement. Without exception, the IEW materials have changed our writing classes dramatically.
