Ask Andrew Anything: Podcast Episode 220

May 22, 2020 | Posted by the IEW Blog Team

From the very beginning of The Arts of Language Podcast, every tenth episode has been dedicated to having Andrew answer listeners’ questions. Aptly titled “Ask Andrew Anything,” these episodes are filled with a wide variety of interesting questions that ask Andrew about writing, literature, and, well, life! Episode 220 is no exception.

Some of the questions Andrew addresses are about curriculum. Other questions posed concern  structure as well as style, motivation, withholding help—one of “The 4 Deadly Errors of Teaching Writing”—and accidental homeschooling.

Listen to the episode and learn how Andrew uses his morning breakfast routine as an illustration of the stylistic techniques. You’ll also find encouragement if you are an “accidental homeschooler.” Have you ever wondered about the best approach for teaching spelling? Learn about why an auditory approach is so valuable. Enjoy these topics and more in this twenty-second edition of “Ask Andrew Anything.”
