Unboxing Structure and Style for Students: Year 1 Level C

For step-by-step instructions on how to use Structure and Style® for Students (SSS), simply click the image of the package you purchased: BASIC, PLUS, or PREMIER.

 


   

Basic Packages (DVD or Forever Streaming)

1. Activate Forever Streaming student videos.
If your package includes Forever Streaming, you will have a card like the one pictured on the right instead of DVDs. First activate your Structure and Style® for Students (SSS) videos at IEW.com/activate and follow the directions, using the unique activation code printed on your Structure and Style for Students Forever Streaming Activation Card. You can find your activation card adhered to the outside of the bag that contains your Binder & Student Packet inside your Structure and Style for Students box.

2. Assemble student binder.
Read page 5 in your Teacher’s Manual and assemble the Student Binder.

3. Prepare for your first week.
Read pages 9–16 in your Teacher’s Manual.

4. Watch the first student video.
Watch Structure and Style for Students Week 1 video with your student. See time signatures on page 9 in your Structure and Style for Students Teacher's Manual. If you have Forever Streaming videos that you have activated, go to your account at IEW.com where you'll find your videos under the Video Streams tab.

 

5. Have fun!

Activate your Teaching Writing: Structure and Style® streaming videos as well as your Premium Membership at IEW.com/activate and follow the directions, using the unique activation code printed on the Activation Card in your Teaching Writing: Structure and Style box. You will find the videos at IEW.com under the Video Streams tab in your account.

2. Assemble Seminar Workbook.
Prepare your Teaching Writing: Structure and Style Seminar Workbook by placing the first 10 pages in the front of your Seminar Workbook binder and each of the other sections behind the correct tab.

3. Activate student videos.
Your Premier package includes Forever Streaming student videos. Activate your Structure and Style® for Students (SSS) videos at IEW.com/activate and follow the directions, using the unique activation code printed on your Structure and Style for Students Forever Streaming Activation Card.
