Vanessa McNamara
In 1993 Vanessa McNamara graduated from WITS University in South Africa and then practiced as a speech language pathologist for 15 years. Immigrating to America in 2009, she homeschooled her children for a few years. In 2012 she moved to the San Francisco Bay area, entering the fascinating field of dyslexia, and has practiced as a certified Barton Reading and Spelling tutor since 2014. Seeing the need to help her students not only succeed in reading and spelling but with written expression as well, she became a registered instructor with IEW in 2021.It is her passion to see students soar in the area of reading and writing.
