BIO

I love teaching writing because I love God's truth. God speaks to us through his Word. We speak to one another with words. Words exchange ideas, build friendships, and convey wisdom. Whether for everyday tasks or great accomplishments, communication mastery facilitates everything we do.

Since 2010, I've been immersed in the IEW method, helping students at all levels and learning abilities grow into skilled communicators. I'm excited to teach your student!

FOCUS AREA

Learning Differences: The reason I pursued the Accomplished tier of instuction, completed the most reacent Teaching Writing with Structure and Style and choose speical education options in continuing education is because this group, students with learning differences, is near to my heart. Not only these studetns, but also anyone who has not been able to thrive with the common approach to teaching writing. I love collaborating with parents to understand where your child is with language arts, choosing the best fit course, and customizing it as needed (putting my accreditation and training to work) to find that just right fit where students are builing confidence and skill, learning to shine as communicators.
