I have taught English / language arts in the public school setting for 15 years. This past year, my 16th year of teaching, I began teaching in a Catholic classical education school (St. Ignatius). I used IEW with 5th, 6th, and 7th graders although I had not been formally trained in this program until now. Next year I will be teaching 5th and 6th grade English at St. Ignatius in Kaukauna, Wisconsin.
