Learning the skill of writing is not just necessary, it is FUN.

As a published author, teacher, tutor, homeschool parent, and a certified life coach, my experience has enabled my students to reach their writing goals and embrace their next level. 

It began many years ago when a friend asked me to teach her children along with my own because of the new birth of her daughter. IEW had just appeared on the scene and had been recommended to me by a friend in California. I spent hours and hours, and then years and years, going deep into this one subject, and it proved to be a defining success.

My own three graduated with academic honors from Grove City College, Messiah University, and Drexel. Students whom I’ve been privileged to tutor in writing their college applications have been accepted to attend Stanford, Harvard Business School, NYU Stern Business School, and Vassar. 

Whether working with a reluctant 5th grade boy who discovers that good writing can be accomplished through concrete steps, or with those preparing to take the test to enter private middle or high schools, or even 8-year-olds who are just beginning to learn the foundations of writing, I’ve so enjoyed my life experiences in watching them triumph. 

Some of my students have published their own books on amazon, others have worked around schedules of high-level competitions in synchronized skating, international orchestra, national volleyball, beauty pageant winning, and football. Some have been artists selling their work for even in the thousands of dollars, and one student knows Formula 1 inside out and uses it as the basis for his platform.
