Corinne Dillon
Corinne is a graduate of Harvard University where she majored in English Language and Literature. A six year homeschooling veteran, Corinne has successfully used Structure and Style as well as Fix It! grammar with all four of her children, one of whom was selected to write for Scholastic Magazine, a testament to the strength and effectiveness of the IEW methodology.
Corinne spent two years living in Hong Kong, seven years in Beijing, China and speaks fluent Mandarin, giving her a unique perspective on teaching English-language learners. She currently lives in London, England. This international experience makes her a fun and knowledgeable instructor, eager to share anecdotes from her time abroad with students!
A strong believer in the importance of content knowledge in developing confident writers, Corinne incorporates the Core Knowledge History and Geography curriculum into her classes. This cumulative curriculum exposes students to topics such as Ancient Greece and Rome, Medieval England, the Renaissance, the American Revolution and the American Civil War.
