Advanced Student Workshops

Cost: $25.00/participant (Teachers & Parents may observe at no cost)
One Parent/Teacher should be enrolled in the Teaching Writing: Structure and Style.

• Story Writing (Grades 3–8): 8:30 AM–11:00 AM
• Research Papers (Grades 5–10): 11:30 AM–2:00 PM *
• Creative Writing (Grades 5–10): 2:30 PM–5:00 PM

These 2.5-hour classes for students Grades 3-10 will give direct instructions in aspects of IEW Units III (stories), Unit VI (research), Unit VII (creative writing). Grade levels are approximate; however, all students should have some experience with Key Word Outlines and at least a few of the dress-up techniques.

Class size is limited to 30 participants. Parents are encouraged to observe.
