I’m so excited to share IEW's curriculum with you all! I had heard about IEW's curriculum years ago but was reluctant to try it. After using countless other programs with very little success, we finally decided to give IEW a try, and boy am I glad I did! I saw an immediate improvement in my children’s writing, vocabulary, and even reading skills! We’ve now been using IEW's curriculum for several years and haven’t looked back.

We love the SSS courses, and I highly suggest starting there. The instructions are very clear, and students know exactly what they need to do each day along with many ways to improve their writing techniques and style. From there we transitioned easily into the theme-based writing lessons.

Most of you also know that we started using the Fix It! Grammar curriculum a few years ago as well. The writing and grammar programs go together very well and use similar terminology and methods, which makes it easy for me to teach both. And now that I have high schoolers, we’ve also incorporated the literature units and High School Essay Intensive. We are very happy with all of the curriculum we’ve used from IEW. My only regret is that I didn’t try it sooner!
