Many years ago, a homeschool friend introduced Denise to the Institute for Excellence in Writing method, and she began using it with her reluctant writers. The confidence it provided her as a teacher, along with the positive results experienced by her students, made it one of her most important curriculum choices. She is accredited as a Master IEW Instructor and currently works for IEW as the Director of Product Development and Director of IEW Online.
