Classic Learning Test (CLT)

A DIFFERENT KIND OF ASSESSMENT FOR STUDENTS PREPARING TO ENTER COLLEGE

Classic Learning Test (CLT) exams serve as an alternative to Common Core-based assessments and help to highlight the unique strengths of homeschool, private school, or charter school students. Focusing on English, grammar, and mathematical skills, CLT exams are available for grades 3-12 and include a college entrance exam accepted at over two hundred colleges. All exams source reading content from the Great Books and evaluate the key components for educational success while encouraging students to think critically and logically.

Over two hundred colleges partner with CLT, accepting its college entrance exam as a complete replacement of the ACT or SAT. CLT provides an entire list of their partner colleges here

Listen to a podcast interview by Andrew Pudewa and Nathan King with Jeremy Tate, founder and CEO of the Classic Learning Test (CLT), as they discuss CLT's tremendous success and explore why Jeremy developed the CLT.
