Bible Heroes Writing Lessons
in Structure and Style®
† Contains distinctly Christian content
From Enoch and Noah to John the Baptist and Paul, students will get to know the heroes of the Bible while working through six of IEW's nine units. A variety of games teach vocabulary, reinforce elements of style, and add to the fun!
The Teacher’s Manual e-book, a necessary component included with this purchase, provides all the help necessary for the teacher and parent: discussion starter ideas, sample key word outlines, sample brainstorming ideas, and thorough instructions for the games and activities.
If you would like to purchase the teacher's e-book as a hardcopy, please click here. (You will still receive the e-book version with the Bible Heroes Student Book.)
These lessons are designed to be used by an instructor who has been through the Teaching Writing: Structure and Style video course.
Perfect for homeschoolers, homeschool co-ops, tutors, and hybrid schools, this theme-based writing curriculum supports parents and teachers in teaching writing to primary school students (grades 1–2).

"Since our older children are using IEW for their writing, I decided to give Bible Heroes a shot for our younger kids. We are learning vocabulary with each lesson, how to narrate, what an outline is and all the parts of speech. I consider this English, Grammar and Bible all wrapped up in one neat little package. The appendices have all the vocabulary words and game helps on card stock ready to cut and use during class or as a family activity through the week. Our daughter loves the pictures and we are letting her color them through the book. This is quite an exciting program for us. I thought it was pricey until I realized I'm saving by using this for all our writing, English and Bible subjects. I haven't found anything better than this and I feel that we can only grow as we continue to use IEW."

"My seven-year-old loves her Bible Heroes Writing Lessons. She looks forward to the games and new vocabulary words. She is now playing with words in a way she never did before."
