Schedule:

10:00 AM: Overcoming Obstacles in Reading and Writing
In this talk Andrew Pudewa combines his knowledge of child brain development with the real-life experience of teaching his dyslexic son. Find hope in Andrew's story while examining practical tools that you can use with your own students.

11:30 AM: Teaching Writing to Students with Special Learning Needs
In this workshop you’ll learn how the Structure and Style writing method adapts to any type of special learning need. Discover how to accommodate each student's particular needs, how to build a young writer's confidence (and yours!), and how to implement practical tips for each of the nine IEW units.

1:00 PM Student Writing Workshop
Gather your students online, and join in this live writing class with Mr. Pudewa. All who register will receive a link to download the student materials needed to participate in this interactive session. Prepare to have fun! (Students of all ages are welcome to attend.)

2:30 PM Putting It All Together: Questions and Answers with Andrew Pudewa and Julie Walker
As participants register for the event, they have the opportunity to submit a specific question regarding teaching students with special learning needs. In this session Andrew and Julie will share the submitted questions and offer helpful suggestions. If you are teaching students with special learning needs, this session will help equip you for success.

Sessions will be live streamed on YouTube.
